Since the Sideloader was designed for one purpose, we soon found there were several shortcomings: 1.) The lefties of the world couldn't use it. 2.) If a rider wanted to mount two Sideloaders on their bike, one of them would be facing the wrong way. 3.) The MTB crowd wanted a downtube Sideloader but wanted to load from the right side.
To solve this problem we needed another Sideloader where the bottle came in from the opposite, or other side. This way everyone would be able to get a drink with whatever hand they wanted and from whichever side of the bike they wanted. The OtherSideloader cage is a mirror image of the original so, of course, they both look great together and work well, too.
Postscript: The packaging is printed backwards on purpose. This way, the guys at the shops can tell which one is which at a glance.
