Customer Reviews
Average rating: | CPowers, 3rd Aug 2011 | Reviewer: Carol Powers | If Volagi had been around when I bought my bike 4 years ago, I bet I'd be riding a Volagi now. How could I betray my beloved carbon-campy bike? :-( Here's how. :-) First, disc brakes. When I did a test ride on a Volagi last month at Crank2, I felt so stable, secure, and in control of the bike. Secondly, it was a very comfortable ride in relation to the road. The disc brakes probably also contributed to that comfort. Thirdly, it is a snazzy looking bike, no doubt about it. And lastly, it was light. Lighter than my bike. If you value safety on the road but don't want to sacrifice speed or coolness, go test ride this bike. As I now do gnarly descents, I wonder what it would be like on a Volagi. Disc brakes have got to be the wave of the future! If I needed a new bike, I'd catch this disc brake wave on a Volagi. The support from the gang at Crank2 would be another plus. | | RFiles, 3rd Aug 2011 | Reviewer: Randy Files | The specialized Roubaix has met its match as the king of the comfort bike. The Volagi makes the road smooth in a really special way! I sought out potholes, road patches and rumble strips, none of them upset the bike at all. The bike climbs well and tears up the miles on the flat. Make a big deal of the disc brakes and miss the real innovation in the frame! |
