Giordana FRC Donna Jersey

Constructed primarily of ultra-light Asteria fabric with omni-directional stretch, the Giordana Women's FormaRed Carbon Jersey has a soft, almost weightless feel against the skin. A second fabric, using carbon fibers, is added in specific places to provide strength and minimize stretch where it isn't warranted. A special higher density carbon fabric is used on the back Y-shaped panel above the pockets. This fabric provides stability to eliminate pocket sag when the three rear pockets, or fourth zippered pocket, is fully loaded. No pocket bounce and no pulling from the shoulders. Contrasting white micro-mesh panels along the back and front continue the weightless breathability provided by the adjacent panels. All panels are contoured and use flat-lock stitching to eliminate rough seams and perfectly follow the curves of the body.

Since nothing else about this jersey is typical, you can bet the grippers on the cuffs and hem aren't either. Giordana uses carbon Amestia fabric, backed with signature red Antigua fabric, to hold these areas in place. Antigua is a lightweight Lyrca blend using small perforations to create cooling air pockets against the skin. The finished product is best described as convincing the jersey to stay in place rather than grabbing and gripping the skin.
